Biofuel in place of Fossil fuels

It was started as an initial experiment in Cambridge but now they are planning for a large scale process, where if 20,000 gallons of biofuel can be prepared per year for an area of one acre then certainly all fossil fuels will be replaced by biofuel. The scientists of joule biotechnologies with the help of genetically engineered microorganisms convert the water and carbon dioxide into a hydrocarbon fuels in the presence of sunlight. The hydrocarbon fuels which are generated in a specially designed photobioreactors are separated using some chemical separation technologies. The thing is that it can be sold at a competitive price when compared to fossil fuels.
