A cell phone to detect disease with an attachment

Almost every matured human being in the world will try to buy new mobile phones that came up with new facilities. But things do differ for different kinds of people because for scientists in the University of California the mobile phones are not only for communication and entertainment purpose but also to detect diseases. They have developed an instrument called “cellscope” which can perform analysis of the magnified image of blood and sputum to detect and track diseases like TB and malaria. It is a tube like expansion which can be attached to cell phone and used as a normal microscope with the various set of lenses already built inside.
