A quite number research has been going on regarding the batteries used in the cars, where the scientists are trying to increase the storage capacity of them by the alternative analysis of electrodes and anodes. The first step of success is probed by the researchers of Stanford University and Hanyang University of Korea. They are developing a new kind of electrodes known as nanotube electrodes which can be assisted in lithium-ion batteries, where these nano electrodes can able to store ten times more charge than the conventional electrodes that we are using nowadays like graphite electrodes. Once this has been successfully implemented then a new generation of electric cars will take over the petroleum cars for sure.
