An aim to preserve nature

In the today’s world the drastic improvement in automobile department has raised question is there any possibility to reduce pollution in the environment? The scientists finally got a corrective solution in their eco-friendly low carbon emission cars. This heat was initially turned on by the UK government in order to reduce carbon emissions and to fund for next generation greener, cleaner cars. It has been a tough competition and finally eight Car making groups won 25 million Euro price cash for future development. The world’s biggest car manufacturing companies from all over the world have been participated and finally the cars have been measured based on low fuel consumption, low carbon emission, performance and electric instead of usual fuel based. Here come the companies that won in the competition race Mitsubishi, Toyota, Porsche and many other sports cars. All of these cars are mainly electric based and some have their top speed of 100 miles an hour with the acceleration of 0-60 miles in 5 seconds.

Say hello to super slim USB card

The data carrier has now come in a tremendous form and its super slim design uniquely portray it advance technology. With the measuring size of 3.4″ x 2.1″ x 0.11″ it can hold up to 4GB memory, that's really massive thing. The period of normal sized USB finger drive will be no more as this super slim USB has over taken it. This ultra slim USB is fitted into a durable, plastic and transparent card. The main idea of bringing this into market is that it can fit into your pocket with ease as it is fairly having a thickness of credit card. So whenever you are thinking of using it, just flip to open the card and plug it just like your normal USB drives. It has various features indeed like it supports USB port either 2.0 or 1.1, compatible with Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems. In simple words if we want to say, it is the most innovative, versatile, robust USB drive on the present market.

Your personal computer will not be ordinary anymore

Due to the development of multi-core CPUs and arrival of massively parallel cores in the graphical processing units, within some years the computer users will find a vast improvement in their processing speeds as well as in gaming platforms. In simple words, if we want to say the personal computer will transform to personal supercomputer. Now itself companies like Nvidia and ATI are offering multiple programming cores for their high end graphical system. They are programmed to do parallel processing tasks in almost every functions of the system, thus we can see the improved display features like video, especially in gaming. But they need some space and high power requirements at a hefty price therefore it is almost infeasible in many laptop designs. The most important thing is that these multi-core and programmable components must be virtually available to market at cheap rates then only is possible to fix into our systems.

More power at low sunlight

The solar cells from the date of invention have found its application in various sunny regions like Sahara, Equator regions, space and also in so many small scale applications. Rather than solar cells the semiconductor materials such as gallium arsenide (GaAs) are more efficient at converting light to electricity therefore it has found its place in common use today. But these semiconductor materials are more suitable for space because in space there is a uniform lighting condition. The atmosphere acts as a filter so the lighting condition varies according to the atmospheric condition. Now the Quantasol, the UK based firm which added the indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) to pores just a few nanometers across on the surface of their cells, called quantum wells. These pores can absorb the light just like normal cells but only at certain frequencies i.e. the light that is not well absorbed by GaAs. In simple words this process has broken the 21-year-old record of one type of solar cells.

Supersonic car to set high speed record on land

There are various groups trying to set the land high speed record but so far Thrust SSC is the only top speed land vehicle developed a team under Richard Noble with the speed of 1221 Km/h since 1997. Now the same group is trying to beat their own record with the help of their invention Bloodhound SSC which is designed to break the speed limit of 1600 Km/h. This high speed supersonic car is still under construction and it can be finished by 2011. Basically this car is supplied with three engines where the rocket will boost the car up to 1200 Km/h that was fitted in old Thrust SSC, Eurofighter jet engine is fitted to provide more thrust to reach the speed of 1600 Km/h and finally V12 petrol engine to supply fuel as well as electrical and hydraulic power to both jet and rocket engines. While the jet and petrol engines are well-established technologies, the team is building the rocket motor from scratch so it will take few more years to assemble the entire vehicle.
