'Drive' me crazy!

Love them hate them, can't do with out them! I'm talking computer drivers here :) Every time that inevitable system crash and reload of OS occurs, the installation of drivers is the most annoying part. Especially when i hit the play button on my favourite movie and realise to my chargin the sound driver has not been installed. OS installation is a simple "next" command until it comes to the part of installing the various drivers. Who wouldn't love a one stop place in the virtual world where all drivers and driver updates are conveniently available. Driver updates are recommend for a variety of reasons most important being performance enhancement. Soft wares are now available that can scan your drive for outdated drivers and these have been rising in popularity over the years. These are generally powered by a huge on-line database of drivers against which the ones in your hard drive are compared.
The most infuriating experience i had was during a quite date with my girlfriend during which we decided to watch some animi and my driver issues popped up to ruin the romance!
